Welcome to the newest issue of Likhaan Online! 

For the regular surfers of our bi-monthly online magazine, we would first like to apologize for not having put out an issue for the past few months. We are back now, however, with a new host (DILNET) and some changes in our staff organization. Our promise of providing you updated news, great features and original literary material continues, and we hope you keep enjoying this site as you've always done.  

 
For those who are surfing into this site for the first time, happy surfing! We've got great stuff in store for you this week. In our literary section, we have 2 poems from Marjorie Evasco's new poetry collection "Ochre Tones: Poems in English and Filipino" released last May, and Luisa Igloria's own version of the latest sequel to a revived popular sci-fi movie, in "Star Wars Episode 1". 

For those who have literary activities to announce, we have included a regular Message Board where you can have your announcements posted. This can be especially helpful for those who seek to inform or invite a wider range of writers and artists, inside or outside UP. Should you want to send in original pieces, we've enabled that too via a contribution box.
